Thomas Adam hat von 2001 bis 2020 an der University of Texas at Arlington transnationale und transatlantische Geschichte gelehrt. Seit August 2020 ist er Associate Professor am Department für Political Science der University of Arkansas und stellvertretender Direktor des International and Global Studies Programms am Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences seiner Universität.
